Although based on a couple GPS waypoints we set on a previous scouting, the image you see here is based largely on walking and memory. When the leaves are down in October we will be able to create a closer image of the trails.
New Songdo city is located to the Southwest of the network on the other side of the thick black line, which is a canal. Total distance to the trail will be <1km.> from Songdo and 1km from Dongmak subway station.

Wow, brother. Awesome start. What a great project to work on. Sounds like there is plenty of interest in this as well.
Good job!!
Thanks. Although we are a long way from approval, the momentum is certainly there. Today will give us a peek of what is to come.

This a great idea for a blog!
how about a post showing the trails from Seoul to Inchon (Anyang-chon or Yangjae-chon [ visa Gwachon])? Or what's the best way (least amount of traffic) to get to Songdo from Inchon City Hall area?
Chrisrawk,
There might be dirt trail taking one from Incheon but I have yet to hear about them. The essence of this program is the expansion of rideable singletrack.
I have ridden bike path from Incheon nearly to Seoul by way of Ansan. It was a beautiful ride but lacked the fun and challenge of dirt. It also lacks good connection to city hall in Incheon requiring travel on concrete farm roads. I do love the farm roads but a speeding Bongo truck on an elevated road with zero shoulder can be a bit scary.
Do you know of a good paved pathway information source?
Cheers,
Stan
